Founded in 1985 by former journalist, ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬, the group has grown to be a global business operating across several sectors. Today, we're recognised for our outstanding multi-platform digital and print media, powerful insights, innovative exhibitions and events, prestigious awards and informative conferences.

166-year old title, Estates Gazette, one of the most recognisable B2B publishing brands is acquired from RELX.

2024

Moodie Davitt Report acquisition and formation of MA Travel Retail

ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬ lands market-leading Moodie Davitt Report — the media, events and business intelligence player in the global travel retail and airport commercial revenues sector — establishing a new operating company, MA Travel Retail.

2020

Farmers Weekly join ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬

The UK's leading agriculture title joined in February from RBI and lead to the creation of ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬'s agriculture division and the opening of our Sutton office.

2018

The Engineer and Subcon join from Centaur Media

ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬'s business division grows further with the acquisition of the Subcon event and The Engineer, one of the UK's longest-running business publications.

Community Care makes ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬ the leader in social care

With an unrivalled reputation for journalistic excellence in the public sector, Community Care's digital consultancy model opens new doors in our education division.

2016

BDIA Dental Showcase acquired

The company acquires BDIA Dental Showcase, which has existed since the 1930s, further increasing its presence in the dental market and signifying the company's expansion into the large scale exhibition sector.

Optician and Songlines join the healthcare and music portfolios

Optician joins the healthcare division while Songlines becomes the third specialist music title in our portfolio.

2015

ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬'s dedicated exhibitions division launched

To reflect the growing importance of our expanding exhibitions portfolio 2015 saw the formation of our dedicated exhibitions division.

Airports Publishing Network acquired

Airports Publishing Network Limited, the leading publication and events business serving the aviation ground handling community acquired.

2015

George Warman acquisition

ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬ expands its dental offering with the acquisition of George Warman Publications (UK) Limited.

2014

Findlay Media Ltd acquired by ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬

ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬ acquired Findlay Media Ltd and in doing so branched into the manufacturing and engineering industry with a portfolio of publications and events.

2013

Nursery World, Printweek and Gramophone join from Haymarket

With a combined age of more than 250 years between them and each a market-leading title in their sector, 2013 was the start of a period of rapid expansion for ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬.

2012

Name change launches MA Business & Leisure

A&D Media changed its name to MA Business & Leisure Ltd.

2003

MA Education is born

ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬'s education magazines and activities were incorporated into a separate company, MA Education Ltd.

2003

ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬ Publishing re-named MA Healthcare Ltd

ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬ Publishing Ltd changed its name to MA Healthcare Ltd to embrace all publishing and conference activities related to healthcare and medicine.

2003

Relocation to St. Jude's Church

After a year of refurbishment, the company relocates into St. Jude's Church in Herne Hill.

1993

Launch of major international events

Princess Diana opens the inaugural London Eating Disorders Conference, establishing the company as a leading healthcare conference organiser.

1985

ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬ established

ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬ Publishing Ltd was established following a management buyout from International Thompson Publishing Ltd of two journals: British Journal of Hospital Medicine and The Physician by the company's founder and Chairman, ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ»ÆÆ¬.
